The product in that link, is it a complete replacement for the a-pillar or is it an add on piece?

For best fitment it goes OVER the pillar that's there. Without the stock one in place there is really nothing that holds that to the body and it moves around a lot. Mine is screwed to the stock pillar and the stock pillar is secured with the clips to the car.

I guess it would be just a cover, for the price it costs.

It makes me wish that our old cars had the aftermarket that the GM truck market does.

They are at the top :D

And Koots what are you talking about? most pillars are just covers and some are even worse and just a universal deal that barely matches what you have. I'm fine with this setup it works great and I've never had issues with it, its also a very clean install. Its a full length cover from headliner to the side of the dash, no seams when installed.

Sometimes the "aftermarket" is not a good thing to have either because then everything is very expensive... For example look how expensive ones are for my legacy.

I just asked the company in that link and they sell a complete replacement a-pillar.

EDIT: Here is what they said.

"This unit is complete but it must also be screwed onto the a-pillar. All units, due to weight, must be securely fastened to the a-pillar with screws. Two screws and covers are included."

As Jon said, apparently it is only a cover, but the one in that web link is a full sized cover. The one that Stunna is selling covers about half of the center area of the pillar. He sent me a pic. Hmmm... Now which one do I want?

The one i have was a universal pod that was cut down and heated to mold to the shape of our pillar - Its just screwed on , but my intentions was to fiberglass it in for a seamless look ... I will try to send you the pic again @ fmondays .

I have one from www.gaugepods.com and i'm very satisfied with it. Yes, it screws over the factory one, but there isn't much of a seam at all.
