Post by badbluballinGTX »

i have a 94 z26 3100 i have a 3400 v6 sitting in my garage with the entire wiring harness and was wondering if i could just get the ecu and make it work. all i need to do is plug it in but what about the instrument panel hook ups? can i just do some splicing? anyone who has done this or checked into this please help me out. thanks in advance...

I've done conversions similar to that.  It can be done, but it isn't easy.  It's very tedious, and there's always some wiring issue you have to troubleshoot.

Its better to just use your current 3100 harness and computer and if you have a 2000+ 3400 with the pencil style injectors use your stock injectors also.
