Motor moves

My 3.1 V6 clunks when i shift it into gear. How do i know which motor mount is done? can i just check it out while someone operates the car, i know there is one on the passenger side front wheelwell, where are the other ones, what should they do if they are not working/broke?

It may not be a motor mount.  But if it is I'd guess it to be the tranny mount.  Somewhere on the drivers side, I believe.

To check your front motor mount (passengers side), have someone get in the car, put it in drive, and rev the engine (foot hard on the brake obviously..)
If the engine jumps, front motor mount needs to be replaced.

2 mounts on the engien 2 on trans--just do was corsicagirl says and that will tell you which mount is bad--see where the engine is moving and banging at

there is one mount on the pass side in the wheel well, one by the engine directly across from the Power steering, and one in the drivers side wheelwell, where is the other one?

the last one should be down underneath on the drives side by the rad called the dogbone mount about 6-8 inches long and silver in color made of aluminum I believe

The fourth is technically called a torque strut.  It's main job is not to support the engine like a mount, but to help keep the engine in position under torque/acceleration.  I don't believe these wear as badly as the mounts, so you may not even need to replace it.  If the rubber isn't torn or shrunk it'll be fine.

ok, ill be getting under the car tomorrow before i have to go to work, ill have my dad check these out with me, how much do motor mounts cost in general?
