Stay tuned for this in upcoming months. As of this moment, hotel is all set, date is good to go and now its holding pattern for winter. More will be announced once things start getting closer. As woody said, there will be a time when registration will begin, usually it will start around 2 months or so before the event. So expect that sometime in April I think. Once I'm part of the committee, (hint hint Mike) more stuff should start getting worked on. I know I have a lot of work to do already, plus some have volunteered to assist.

And just because you missed a few things during the initial part of bfest planning, doesn't mean anyone can't be a part. The more the merrier!

what was last years cost? when they get the hotel do we get a group rate discount or is it full price? how do we sign up for registration and stuff?

This contains the original proposal that was selected for 2012. As for pricing, we have secured a group rate for "suite" style rooms at approx $140 a night. (this is a $150 discount over normal room pricing with sleeping room for up to 6, so sharing is helpful). Included are passes to the indoor waterpark, plus its a really amazing place to stay.. If you read through that thread and this one, you can find more info and particulars.

Last year's rates were around 100 a night. We have historically been under or over 100 a night for our stays.

Patience though, you currently have plenty of time to plan, save, and do any work that you want to your ride before the end of June.

Keep your eyes open, registration will occur in the spring sometime, and usually about 25$ to register. Well worth it, I can't wait.
