that might work but you would have to be really careful with lining it up and get accurate measurements

^^^^ If you do that the sunroof will look unfinished. you need some extra so you can overlap (wrap around) the hole to look finished.

There is a flexible trim piece that pushes in to the roof channel that finishes it off.

okay, just for clarification on the shifter, a 91+ OD shifter will work in a 89 3 speed non overdrive car right?

Damn woody, nice interior. Custom uppholstry?

Well, on the shifter topic. 91+ shifters won't work, and I got one that I thought worked but turned out to be out of an 88 or 87 because its one of the fatty ones, so I had to butcher my console for it to work and whatnot. And it doesn't want to completely engage park now because the fatty shifter sucks ass, so my key is stuck in the ignition and I need to use my ebrake for parking...

Bit of a bump, but I ended up cutting a non sunroof 91+ base model headliner (shame, it was pristine) Hangs down around the sunroof a bit because the contours are a bit different and the board seems to be alot thicker, but looks good. Also fixed my shifter and ebrake probs too. only thing left headliner wise is to wrap some of the extra fabric from the cut around the sunroof hole and put my roof console in.

I have a 91+ shifter (Bought first, did not work) and a 88 shifter (too fucking fat for my console) if anyone wants to buy one lol.
