Headliner and headliner board
Headliner and headliner board
I need a headliner and its board for a grey interior sunroof Beretta.
I'd accept it being shipped if that's possible, shipping would be to 17870.
Thanks.

Re: Headliner and headliner board
You are WAY better off just repairing your current one or making a new one. The shipping on an item as such would be crazy for two reasons. 1. It is kind of big and the main reason is 2. Packing it to arrive in good condition (not bent ) would be a lot of time and money.
If your headliner is "cracked" or broke, just hit a junkyard and grab another one. The felt doesn't even need to be in good shape because you will just tear it off and buy new material anyway. You can buy headlilner material with a thicker padding than what came from the factory for a decent cost at JoAnne's Fabrics, or the like.
If your headliner isn't cracked, the felt just sags, replace the felt!
I made my own headliner and it came out perfect. Very easy to do.

Re: Headliner and headliner board
you made your own headliner?
Re: Headliner and headliner board
The thing is, the previous owners threw the board and headliner away. So its just bare metal.
Maybe I will just hit a junkyard up, I'm just having trouble finding decent sunroof Beretta's to get the stuff out of.

Re: Headliner and headliner board
I spent about $70 on materials redoing my Fiero headliner a few years back. I just had the one in my GTU done, and if I had taken it into him, it was $75. Being super busy, I decided to have him remove it, recover it, and do the sun visors while the Beretta was there. All 3, out the door $200, plus they put in a new windshield for $50 (my deductable). You can do it cheaper if you do it yourself, and it is not hard, but it was money well spent, as I dropped it off, and picked it up and it was done.

Wait so where are you located and your beretta has a sunroof? Ill keep a eye out, If your going to bfest ill see i could snag you one locally and help ya install there. save your arm on shipping.
Re: Headliner and headliner board
Ouch, yeah... When I re-did my headliner it was like $30 for the fabric, tops. Then the 3m adhesive spray was like $12. But I can very easily understand the "I'm busy you do it" mentality!bulldog wrote:I spent about $70 on materials redoing my Fiero headliner a few years back. Re: Headliner and headliner board
Styluss can you clarify for me? Did you just recover the stock board, or are you saying you built a whole new board?

Re: Headliner and headliner board
The boards do disintegrate due to age and/or unassembly...so watch out. Mine was bad, really bad.

second that. you have to be extremely careful with them. i redid mine just yesterday and small gust of wind came through did all but fold it in half. luckily it didnt do enough damage to have to trash it. best bet is junk yards or try to make one. local fabric shop charged 25 for the burgundy liner material then 6 bucks for the glue. about an hour of work, all done.
