Turbo savy people!

Post by mustangman70 »

Ive been eyeballing cams, but i want a cam that will be turbo friendly too.

With  a 3100 top end swap and some port work done what would be a decant sized turbo and cam to use to use? any stock turbos i can look for in the junkyard? my buddy might have a stock turbo that came out of a GN for me but ill believe it when i see it lol

A local ad also has a Garrett turbo A/R.48 for $100

and another one has an

Airesearch /Garrett TURBO T04 for $150

1989 beretta- 2.8 auto future plans include either a 3800 SC 5 speed swap or an LS1 6 speed RWD conversion....

Find a minimum of a T3super60.  Some T-birds came with them.
A GN turbo or SY/TY turbo will work but not the best.
The best would be a TO4B S or V trim, TO4E 54 trim, or a GT35.  You will want a .83 or under A/R turbine.
