The time has come to sell mine. It has minor hail damage and needs a transmission, but the engine runs like a champ! $1200 obo. I would fix it, but I need something bigger anyway and figure I would be better off putting that money towards a new car.

Car has 3100 with 19x,xxx miles on it. VIN 1G1LW15M5SY276670. Car has new brakes all around, new rear shocks, new sensors (temp, IAC, MAP, etc), new coil packs, new injectors, new plugs, new wires, new fuel pump, new filter, new battery, new alternator, new vacuum lines, head and intake gaskets were last replaced at around 150k mi (back in 08), AC compressor leaks and will only hold a charge for 2 weeks. I'm sure I'm missing more. Car has also had induction cleaning service done recently and TB cleaned.

This has always been my 2nd car and it has spent most of its life in a garage and I have 99% of the receipts for all parts since this car was first owned! I was on my way to getting this car in top top shape (put over $2k into it in the past year) when it got the hail damage in April then the tranny went out a few weeks later and I have lost interest in it and need something newer and bigger to haul kids around in.

This is how it sits now (I go start and run it once a week):

I'm willing to build anyone a trans who wants one... obviously if your far away shipping is a bitch... but just throwing that out there. I'm actually doing one for Berettaboy soon.

A mod hijacking my thread! ;) lol
I thought about rebuilding mine, but it's time consuming enough just to replace this one as it is. I have the funds for the low mileage one, just waiting to hear back from the source that it's still available.

Really hoping that I can hold out another year on getting a new car, but that's going to be though...I've been promised a free 09 Impala next year. :)

Anyway, my transmission should be here tomorrow...so I guess you can remove/close this thread. Looks like I might be keeping it a while longer! :)

So long as it works! lol
It has a 30 day warranty. Hoping it'll get installed on Sunday.

I guess then I'll be hitting up the local jy trying to find a red hood and trunk lid! lol

Having the car hauled to the shop tomorrow night. My hubby's coworkers are going to start on it Saturday if they are slow and we hope to finish it up on Sunday!

I can't wait. It'll be nice get back back to driving a car that gets decent gas mileage and can run on the cheap stuff lol (I drive almost 100miles a day)
