Headliner Upgrade

This is the only modification I've done to my car so far.  It's fairly inexpensive - depending on the materials used.  I used black bulap.  Why?  Because it's unique and different.  Pics are a bit big, hope you don't mind.

That would not be my first choice in material but it looks like you did a pretty good job. Like you said you wanted to be different.  What did you use for glue? I would image that material is fairly heavy.  I used some 3m spray adhesive my first time and it started falling within a week.  Second time I used stuff made for healiners and it is holding a lot better.

It's not too heavy.  I used 3m Super Adhesive for heavy headliners.  Holding like a charm.

I think the burlap looks horrible. I suggest you get some actual headlining material:

I will say you did a good job on it though.

Well, my pics don't really do it justice.  In person it's pretty cool.

If there were stores nearby that had material for cheap I would have gone that route, but I didn't want to.

yeah, not my choice for material but wow, not bad work at all. you should have painted the sun visor mounts while they were out to match alittle better with the material!

I'm going to have to give it a thumbs down, poor material and that fact that it matches nothing else on the car make it gay imho. maybe a different color or follow kyle's link to get the right stuff
