Swaybar endlinks

Post by KillerofRice »

Stupid me left my dad loosen up my endlinks and now I can't get them tight again. He didn't pull them apart but there is a lot of play in the bushings. I'm really frustrating myself with this b/c my car hasn't been on the road for 1.5 weeks now. It's just stupid stuff that's being a pain in my butt. I replaced the left CV halfshaft and now the tranny is leaking. Any thoughts on why that's leaking? I'm thinking it's just not in the whole way or is the seal bad there. I'm to my wits end now please any input would be great. I'm really getting tired of driving my mom's Impala to work. I miss my retta   .

You probably damaged the seal or the axles is not fully seated in the tranny.

The end links have a flat area on them to put a wrench on.

Thanx Rex. The axle wasn't seated in the whole way. And my dad said he got the endlinks tight so I'm gonna check them out tomorrow morning and see how everything is.
