i have an idea for berettafest 2014!

Post by Tylerlp »

why dont we have berettafest 2014 down at the tail of the dragon? i mean 318 curves in 11 miles sounds pretty wicked to me! not only that there is some pretty breathtaking views out there.

You must submit a proposal for the 2014 location. Details can be found here about that. I'm also fairly certain you must attend BerettaFest to propose the idea, or have someone that is going propose it for you. Another thing that helps quite a bit (and may be required, I can't remember) is to have someone local to the area help with the proposal.

All of the above... ;)

I do have to say 30+ Berettas rocking the Dragon would be a masterpiece...

I would love to tame the Dragon, in a BFest group!

But as mentioned, you will need to present an official proposal to have the event at this location. I just put together the proposal for denver that won this year so let me know if you would like some help!

Also yes, you must present this proposal at BFest either in person or via a representative speaking on your behalf.

You know the Speed Limit on that thing is about 30 MPH and monitored extensively!

Been on it a few times when we had our home down south.
It's NOT that great anymore.

Come now Sir Cranky, that's more of a guideline than anything else! :D

But no, seriously there is a tree covered in busted motorcycle parts from people being dumb. And as much as I agree it would make for a great(epic?) calendar cover picture, someone or someones would end up being dumb themselves and possibly taking others with them. The Corvette club that Mike and I passed were being VERY well behaved...

But, proposing Knoxville isn't a bad idea at all its just that RULES would need to be laid down before that cruise...

Knoxville would be VERY cool for BerettaFest 2014! As a resident, I know of LOTS to do around here and there is PLENTY for the car enthusiast group to do...

You should start getting your proposal together now and be prepared to present it in Denver. Otherwise it won't happen!

I'm not going to be at Bfest this year... too close to the birth of our 2nd kiddo.

You can still put a proposal together and have someone attending present it for you, heck, I am sure Mike would even do it if it was well done.

The individual proposing the said proposal is also now responsible for that event if it does win... just remember that if you take on someone else's proposal and it wins and they fall off the face of the earth, its now on you... Even if your not local to that area.

True.

And with that said... scouting that area would be fun. I'd become a master at it with as many trips I'd need to take there to get everything situated!
