Engineered performance LSD

Post by Alxsmt »

Engineered performance LSD for the getrag 282. Fresh full rebuild by jeff at ep, it was fully rebuilt with shimmed springs. This might be the strongest lsd that was ever in a beretta. Very street friendly. I had about 500 miles on this, did one auto cross with it in the rain. Performed great! Then my clutch died, along with 4 wheel bearings.. so im doing something a little different with my car now. I have no use for this now..
This comes as a complete unit. Bearings included. The diff is the stronger 92? Style. It was purchased from jeff. It has only seen redline MTL with lsd additive since the rebuild. Stock v6 gearing.
$550 and its yours. Shipped to the US. $600 for Canada.

Same LSD design as mine ;) Probably just as strong since I've had him rebuild mine a few times.

So we can share the title of strongest LSD's in Beretta's LOL :)

PM'ed!

Any reason why you guys need to rebuild these pretty often ? It's the clutch material that doesn't last ?

Sale pending.

Damn I thought I was the only one!

I had about 30k of nothibg buy abuse on mine, then in the middle of a race the diff pin found its way though my trans case lol. It still drove! Send it to jeff and he thought I just wore it out (the diff), the clutches looked good but the plates were cracked. So he changed to the new style/thicker plates and shimmed the springs to reduce spinning/heat even more. I can get the specs of what it was shimmed to

Same with me but I cracked the stamped plates in my red car and just wore out the second style he had in my pink car, good amount of mileage and drag racing on it though. This one has been good so far... But I haven't taken it apart to inspect it.

I don't know if he ever told me a number, I'd have to look back and see.
