car and extra parts for sale
car and extra parts for sale
I have a 1994 base model, 3100 w/ 4T60 o.d trans car, and around 164+K on it. It's Adriatic blue w/ blue interior. It was purchased new from Sloane Chevrolet in Phila., PA (now closed) Sept 14,1994 by my father. I was 17 and now I'm 37. Car never left the family as he and myself were the only owners. It almost made 20yrs old, but on July 15, 2014, some moron not paying attention rear ended me while I was dead stopped at a red light. Paint isn't good (factory) but it was a reliable and solid soldier until it met it's demise. I feel like I'm losing a brother.
I'd like to sell the whole car if possible. It's now reduced to a parts car. The lady that hit me was going about 35mph in a small suv. She pushed the sail panel into the trunk, bumper into the sail panel//spare tire well, bent the trunk lid, and the hit put a buckle in both 1/4's. But from there up, the rest of the car is in good shape.
I recovered the front buckets and rear seat with some used factory seat covers (out of a 35k orig car that had been wrecked). They aren't 100% but are pretty close. Center console is in good shape as is the console lid. Dash has 2 small cracks in it and the pull out cup holder still works. Car is a manual window//power door lock car. The auto door lock function, radio (w/ cassette), and a/c still function.
Within the last 2 yrs I've replaced the struts//shocks (kyb gr2), radiator, intake//valve cover gaskets, and the biggie...the trans was completely gone through, rebuilt, and got a fresh convertor.
I'm asking $500 for the whole car. The trans alone cost me $1,200. I just don't have the heart to cut the car up.
Extra parts: best offer please, I know what I paid for this stuff, but not sure what it's worth to anyone here.
Spectre high flow air filter (k&n knockoff)...fits in stock air box
nos gm headlights, were on the car for about 1yr
nos gm left rear tail lamp assembly, never installed on the car
nos gm o/d shift indicator assembly, was in car for about 1yr
1994 Z26 instrument cluster w/ oil press sending unit
factory internal support bar w/ hardware for rear axle
1988 GT Z51 rear solid sway bar w/ all mounting brackets and bushings
factory rad support cover...never modded it to fit my car
I'm not very good with posting pics. I do most of this off my phone.
Big THANK YOU to Stencil for allowing to post the ad. If anything is out of line or needs to be fixed, please let me know. Hopefully the car and or the parts can help someone else keep their Beretta on the road.
Thanks for looking,
Brian

Forgot to add in original post. Car is in Philadelphia PA.

Does anyone need any parts off the car? No offers on it and it's going to the yard this week. Any needs let me know.
Thanks again

I would love the Z51 rear bar as well but 100 is too steep for me.
Are you willing to ship any of this stuff?

How's $75 plus the ride. Yea, I can ship stuff. The bar isn't on the car. All I have to do is figure out how to pack it.

I could sure use the car for parts. The problem is there is nowhere to store it.

well MPB you have first dibs on the Z51. Easy to box it, just take some boxes and cut them open then wrap them around it and tape it... Box doesn't have to be perfectly rectangle. I got a Z21 bar shipped to me and it was just in two boxes taped together to make it wide enough.

You going to put it on the Indy? Is that Z21 bar bigger than my stocker? If "yes" on both I'd buy the Z21.

Z21 is the hollow version of the bar. I'll probably put that on till I can get another solid bar.

Re: car and extra parts for sale
I just want to see what kind of change it makes. Still have my worn out springs, so really I could just wait for the next one. If there is one(lol).
Just so it's clear: I think that pinky is a much better car and should have this bar.

Oh and a hollow bar here in the rust belt is not a good idea. It's life span would be short.

Pinky has the solid Addco rear bar... Z51 is just a bit less than that.

Re: car and extra parts for sale
I was thinking that the Z51 would firm up the "axle" at the base and Addco would firm up where the wheels mount to. So both is overkill?
