Coolant Fan Relay

Post by Guest »

I'm driving an 88 beretta with the 2.8L in it and am curious if anyone would be able to tell me where the coolant fan relay goes. I know it goes in the bank of 4 on the firewall, but I'm not exactly sure which one it is??, I contacted GM and they weren't exactly sure where it went as there diagnostic picture wasn't all that good, That horrible Manual by hanes or whatever only has an arrow pointing to the bank of four, thats all it says. Any help would be much appreciated, would enjoy not having to use my heater to cool the car!!

I've read the other threads on collant fans and such and nobody has said where exactly it goes, a lot of people end up replacing the temp sending unit! I know my fan works! just won't run! Thanks again!

It's the 3rd in from the driver's side.  The wires are red, pink/black, black/red, and green/white.  Good luck with fixing it!
