guess what all!

Post by 6r8ph1X »

Well here's how the story goes. I was out driving the other day minding my own buisness,  when i see a parking lot Filles with snow!!!!! I think to my self  "self, that looks like fun" I said in return "I agree!!!!!!!!!" so i proceeded into the perfect parking lot with no light poles and nothing to hit except to have fun in the snow. I continued into the parking lot and had the time of my life in the snow with my retta. "Woohoo!!!!" i say as i listen to some Disturbed while drifting. I had my fun, then quickly left the parking lot in fear of the infamous cops around here. Anyways, i drive home having fun the whole way home, and then went inside to end my day. The next day me and my friend are driving down the road and I'm thinking i hear a faint thump thump thump thump coming from somewhere but i don't pay attention, thinking it was just the road. Next day we are out driving again and i start to feel the thump on my gas pedal and break pedal, very light still. I start wondering. My  friend's brother in law had been talking to me a couple weeks before, he had owned 3 GTZ's before. He said i was getting due for new axel's and that they were about 100 bucks a pop. I didn't think i did cause my baby drove just fine. Pshttt, that won't happen to me!!! My car's INVINCIBLE!!!!!!!! Continuing, well the next day it is starting to get REAL bad and loud too, i was seriously worried and pissed off too lol. I knew it was the axels. *FOUR LETTER EXPLICIT WORD!!!!!!!!!!* that was alot of money i didn't want to spend, let alone know how to fix it or have the time! i made sure i had atleast 3 other sources that the axels were what it was and then i looked around for a place to do it for me (mainly cause of time and laziness and lack of knowledge of transmissions). I found a place my friend went to called alpha performance in beavercreek Ohio. Very cool little performance shop. They had the whole job done for me for $372.51. I thought that was fairly good. I'm extremely happy with the job and my retta handles like it's on rails now. I love it! The moral of the story is, don't go snow drifting if you have 150K miles on your stock front axels!!!! or you'll four letter explicit (lol) them up. Happy holidays all!!!!!!

It's always something with these cars, but they are always fun in the snow! Good to hear you found a parking lot with no poles, that = no body work. Too many cops and poles around my place.
keep'em flying!
