Charlotte NC – Charlotte was incorporated in 1768, and is home to roughly 700,000 in
the Charlotte city limits. Charlotte is largest city in North Carolina and is 19th largest city in the US .
Charlotte is at the heart of Nascar country, as well as battles during the Revolutionary war, as well as the second largest ‘Financial’ city by assets in the US.
Charlotte is home of Lowes Motorspeedway, is 3 hrs from Myrtle Beach, and 4 hrs from Tail of the Dragon and the Cherohala Skyway
(perfect to come through on the way to Bfest!)

Potential SCCA Autocross @ Charlotte Knights Stadium (schedule released in Jan 2009).
Friday – Morning/afternoon
Hendrick Motorsports Tour ( http://www.hendrickmotorsports.com ) - home of Dale Jr, Jimmie Johnson, and other drivers.
Evening Test & Tune @ Zmax Dragway @ Lowes Motor Speedway ( http://www.lowesmotorspeedway.com/dragway ) The Bellagio of Drag Strips with 4 lanes!
Charlotte Knights AAA baseball team game @ 7:15pm. ( www.charlotteknights.com )
