Junkyard Build
i bought a 3.1 berretta and am wondering what, if any, parts i can get from the junk yard that will make it a nicer ride.. anything from looks to performance.. just looking for parts that i can pull from another car and put into this one.. not looking for any motor swaps becuse i plan on reselling it after i do some minor work to get it running good again. oh and one more question, are there any common "steering" problems with these cars? aparently the last owner said something was wrong in the steering.. i dont know im picken it up tomoro and need some help.. dont know a damn thing about these. i heard a 2.8l intake does wonders but i doubt that....

Look for a Cavalier strut tower bar. The bar must have the holes in a line. There are some out there that have the outside hole more forward and they won't work. You can find the bar on Z-24's. If your crazy you can make a 3X00. http://www.domesticcrew.com/660/hybrid.html
Also you can get a lower frame brace. There was a great topic on the old site with what could be done and where to get it, but it's gone after the change. I think you can get the brace on a 90's Cavalier convertible. You have the bigger brakes, so there is no need to look for them and all that go with them.
