3400 swap

Post by kylez26 »

I just picked up a 1994 z26 for 300$, But when i got home the motor started to knock. It currently has a 3100in there and i was wondering if I put a 3400 in it instead of a 3100 will it run right if i put a bigger fuel pump in there or do i have to get a chip burned?

Any help is appreciated
Kyle.

There have been numerous 3400 swaps completed. No upgrades to the fuel system are needed; you aren't running FI.

As long as you keep your 3100 fuel rail & injectors it will run fine on the stock computer. I did that for years with my 95.
