oh crap handles

Post by woody90gtz »

Looking to put some oh crap handles on the Beretta to help hold up the headliner that is...less than perfect. Anyone know of a certain car that has some sweet lookin ones? Or if the wall of the roof is thick enough for some self-tappers to mount them?

This pic shows how it sags a little, and I think an oh crap handle would look fine and not seem out of place.

I want these too. Are there any structual points on our roof that would handle these?

Well since the proper word gets translated into crap, you get the idea. I don't think you can put the word "crap" on here.

Edit:

Yep, it translated it. Anyways. Can't think of a car offhand that has what you want. I do know that there is enough meat in the structure if you want to bolt one on though.

the word filter can be turned off in your settings, it doesn't do a replacement on the post, just on the viewing

For me it doesnt necessarily need to be functional...just needs to hold the headliner up.

I would think getting a better fitting headliner would be a better idea... LOL

Just my opinion, because the day someone grabs your not so functional handle and buckles your roof I'll LAUGH my ass off. :)

Jon if you have a way for me to source a better-fitting headliner, I'm all ears.

Oh OK. I get it.

Woody I had the headliner re-done on my Quad.

I think it was $150 complete and it's perfect and matches exactly.

Did they replace the fiber board though?

No. My fiberboard was perfect as it was, however it is a California car.

That said, my '92 is starting to sag as well and I think I may just pull it to the sides and staple it back up for all I drive the damn thing. However I don't have a sunroof to deal with.

Exactly. If the fiberboard wasnt shot it would have been cake to reupholster it. Without that board I don't know what to do...it's a complex shape.
