BerettaFest 2011 Update
Hey everyone!
I would like to pass along some very exciting updates regarding the planning of Bfest 2011 in Indianapolis, IN! We have been busy since fall, and the committee has made some major headway into some great events and locations for everyone!
We are in the midst of closing the deal on a great hotel in the Indy area. I'll check back in with more details once it is finalized. Our members may have the choice of a suite with a pre-stocked kitchenette in addition to the normal queen and king rooms we are used to. Prices should range in the $75-$90 per night, but again this has yet to be finalized.
For our friday of Bfest, 6/24/11, we are looking at an extensive tour of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. We have contacted track and museum officials and we have a slot reserved for our group for the Grounds Tour. Check out: http://www.indianapolismotorspeedway.co ... ity/35210/ Price will be $25 per person for the grounds tour, and it will feature the 1990 Indy 500 Beretta Pace Car in the museum. Specially reserved for us... For those who would want to skip the full tour and just hit the museum, the cost will be $5 per person.
We also have reserved a great pavilion for the saturday car show and picnic. Check out: http://www.indy.gov/eGov/City/DPR/Parks ... kPark.aspx This is a great park with nice amenities, and we have a great local reference for it. You will notice that there is a $5 vehicle admission fee for the day. We are reviewing the funds in the BFest account, and there is the chance that this will be covered or partially covered by the account and this year's registration fees for each vehicle.
Keep checking back for updates as things are really starting to roll! Upcoming things to look for are going to be finalized hotel details, the 2011 logo being completed, and registration opening sometime in March! Keep in tune!

Re: BerettaFest 2011 Update
replied to your other thread so others can see the answer. If your coming for the show/picnic its required for you to register and pay the registration fee... However you do not have to get a hotel room. The reg fee covers food costs at the Picnic.
Re: BerettaFest 2011 Update
I can't wait to drive my Beretta across the country again!!!

Re: BerettaFest 2011 Update
I'll be there this year too!

Mostly you meet friends when traveling by accident, like by sitting next to them on the train, or in a restaurant, or in a holding cell.

Um, my sisters getting married. Just found out I had the date wrong yesterday. Lets just say I'm still pissed and trying to find a way.

I will leave the current comments here, but this section of the forum requires approval to limit the banter back and forth in these threads. I did this so it is easier to find any pertinent information instead of having to flip through multiple pages of garbage.
Please try to keep it to a minimum, if you want a discussion on the thread make a new one in general or off topic.
