Inline Fuse - Fog Lamps, Door Locks, and Horn

Post by Guest »

I noticed my power locks weren't working today, so I checked all the fuses in the driver's side block. All were okay. Then I saw the note on the cover that says "Inline Fuse [ 20 Amp ] Fog Lamps, Door Lock, Horn [Under Steering Column]". Sure enough, these are the three things that aren't working.

However, I took the panel off under the steering column and I can't find any inline fuse or I have no idea what it should look like. Does anyone know where this fuse is? Color coding, location in relation to other parts, etc.?

By the way, this is in a 1995 Z26.

Mine was hanging by the steering column near the firewall. If you still can't find it let me know and I will snap a quick pic.

Edit: Jeez why can't I spell anymore.

Thanks Rodville! I managed to find it today. It was taped up with some other connections. The top of the fuse was facing the firewall.
