BerettaFest 2011 Planning Updates and Registration
Hey gang!
Spring has sprung (or is still trying...) and that means that registration for BerettaFest 2011 is about to begin! The Beretta.net Committee has been working hard to get everything in place for Bfest 2011, so here is a look at what we have been doing!
Registration - Our registration site is nearly ready, and we should go live and open registration sometime within the next week. Look for a more specific message when we do open, but registration should be open for about 6 weeks. We will be closing registration a little earlier this year, because our hotel will be opening our block before the end of May. More details to come in the next week!
Hotel - We have secured 50 rooms at a very nice hotel outside of Indy. Prices will range from $75-$95 per night, depending on what kind of room you want. Details will be distributed on the hotel once you have completed your registration!
Park - We have secured pavilion A at Eagle Creek Park for the saturday Car Show and BBQ. (http://www.eaglecreekpark.org) You will notice that there is an entrance fee. Depending on how we sit financially after registration, the committee may be able to pay some or all of each car's fee.
Indianapolis Motor Speedway - We have uber-confirmed that we are reserved for a Grounds Tour at the track at 10am on friday 6/24. We also uber-confirmed that the 1990 Beretta Convertible Pace Car will be on display for us in the museum! Prices will be $25/adult and $10/child (ages 6-15) for the full Grounds Tour, which includes entrance into the museum.
There is a lot to be excited for with BerettaFest only 3 months away! Keep posted for more updates, and for registration to open very soon!

So what's the deal with the registration website? We usually register in mid-March, and mid-April is fast approaching... and we have less time to do it in.
Come on guys!

It will be up this week, I had some family issues to take care of over the past couple of weeks and haven't had the time. I was also waiting on some stuff for it.

...and I was hiding in my basement during a tornado warning here last night! There actually was one that touched down about 30 miles from me, and another one suspected within about 5-10 miles... Needless to say I wasn't too swift in responding! But in all seriousness watch for registration to open in the next 24-48 hrs...

Really? Do you see a post saying it's open yet? There will be a post and link to the registration site when it's done. We are not going to keep it a secret.

Re: BerettaFest 2011 Planning Updates and Registration
as far as I know it has never been done off of the yahoo group. As soon as mike gives the final go ahead it will be up. Also since all of the server issues have been resolved at this point It should only take like an hour to get the site updated for next year.
Jon, mike may need you to update the main page once the registration site is approved, I probably won't be out of work till after 1am est again.

Re: BerettaFest 2011 Planning Updates and Registration
Well...looks like there *might* be a big group coming this year to BerettaFest 2011. With that being said....I have started my planning with the West coast peeps and we have a game plan setup with pictures and meeting points for our BerettaFest West caravan. Of course....I have also had to get the truck ready for the long haul again. Here is one of 3 different mods that being done before the big trip. I had to. This makes the whole drive better being able to sport my love for this event.
