I have a 96 Z26 and I dont know where this sending unit is. . .and I dont know what it looks like. . .My oil pressure gauge is jumping all over the place and I know the sending unit has gone bad. Is it a big job?? Where exactly is it located on this 3100 Engine?

If your looking for the oil pressure sensor it is driectly above your oil filter. Crawl under front of car and you can see it.

its quite hard to see.  Its above the starter but below the exhaust manifolds and just to the right of the oil dipstick.
