What muffler is that? Sounds good at idle, but I'm not sold at higher revs.
Glad to see you still have the project around! Ever make it to the track?

Im liking the fact that its done and if I remember right you did a good job reinforcing the radiator support.  Id love to have some vids of it under load because I too like the sound at idle but the upper rpms no.  In the one vid it sounds like it might sound good under load though (when you goose it just a bit going in the garage).
So we need a full story, close up pics of all the mounts, and vids ÂÂÂ
Not to many supercharged 3800's out there.  I think only two.
Edit: just noticed you already have headers on it, do you have a smaller pulley too?

The car has been done for about 9 months now. Just chasing bugs and buttoning things up. Plan to get it to the dyno in the near future. Take it to the track the first night of test&tune at Gateway.
Pacesetter headers with high-flow cat and 2.75" exhaust to a Tsudo (stainless steel) performance muffler.
I tried to get it to the track the last night of Midnight madness and test&tune. Midnight madness, they were only giving timeslips to cars faster then 12 seconds. The last night of test&tune, I had to watch the daughter. While the wife studied for her boards.
I am waiting to install the smaller pulley. Waiting to dyno and tune it for a baseline. Then install the smaller pulley to see the difference.
I will get some new pictures up of the motor mounts and reinforced front cross-member at the end of the week. Busy tomorrow and first half of the week.

Is that your cobalt SS? I love cobalt SSs. I havent seen a stock SRT-4 beat a stock SS yet.

Belongs to my friend Phil that shot and hosted the video clips for me. Its a fun car to drive. He has all the stage 2 goodies on it. He and I raced with my 2000 Lincoln LS. From a stop he got me by about 3-4 cars lengths. At a roll 45mph, I got him by about 5 cars lengths and was still pulling on him. I was VERY impressed with the car and its handling. If I was a younger, I could see myself buying one. car like that doesn't figure into children and family life.

I guess I didn't realize that the LS's were that fast? Did I miss something?

Another LS with the same mods I have dynoed out to 218whp. I have had mine up to 142mph and still had pedal. 0-60 it will not set anyone on there hear. 60-100+ oh my. It will get up and go.

Stock Cobalt SS's have been known to dyno at 200+whp, his stage 2 make more power than your LS. It also weights 1/4 ton less. Its not like they have no top end like a 2.8/3.1....it just doesnt sound right to put 5 cars on one from a roll. You would need 300whp to do that kind of damage.

Very well done. I really like the fit and finish of it all, although I did notice that you're oil pressure reading is off that gauge.
P.S. I think your coolant it low...

Coolant censor is bad.
The oli, water, & voltage guages are not hooked up. I have Autometer guages for them hooked up and sitting on the floor for now. I can see and read them for now. I have a fiberglass dash going in with guage pods molded into it for the Autometers.
Just temperary till I have the car painted and the interior finished. The dash, door panel, rear deck, center console, and rear panels are all getting fiberglassed and painted to match the car.

He was in third gear at 45mph, when I punched it. I had five car lengths before he dropped it to second. By that time I was pulling on him. IF he had been in second and NOT third, he probably would have beat me. Chit happens.
Top speed, I beat him too. He gave up at 125mph as I was still accelerating. I let up at 142mph. He and I are sure he could have gone faster, BUT he just let up.
