Okay, I do not have a Beretta anymore. I have a 1998 Grand Prix se. I have recently had some thoughts about putting a 5 speed in it. I am asking here bc when  I ask questions on grand prix forums they dont give me answers.
Right now I have a 3100 sfi engine and a 4t60e. My Question is. Are there any manual trannys that will bolt to this motor or possibly a 3800 sfi?
And what is the deal with the 3500 swap? Is the 3500 talked about on here the dual overhead cam Oldsmobile motor? And what trannys are being used in combination with that engine.
Im just looking for info now.

Yes, V6 HM282's will bolt up to the 3x00 motors.
The 3500 people talk about is the one in the Malibu's; not the one in Intrigues (aka the Shortstar).
