95+ lower Rear Shock Mounts
Ok since I'm trying out a set of Bilstein's I need the lower shock mounts that cam with the 95+ Monroe and similar shocks. Since I have KYB's they are integrated into the shock itself and are not bolted. See pics.
No bolt on the lower shock bracket, Its just a flared collar.

I need the silver bracket with the stud and nut thats shown in these shock photos.

Don't kill yourself to get two, I only need one since I found one in a box... I have to have a second floating around SOMEWHERE but thats the issue... I may never find it before I need it.

Re: 95+ lower Rear Shock Mounts
do you want the bottom shock mount off of a stock shock? the one with the flared tube holding the shock to the bracket? or specifically looking for the 'meant to be bolted in bracket'? i just replaced my rear shocks and can send you the bottom mounts... they are just as yours are except for the 'rear sway bar mount'
4th one's a charm, 5th one is, beginnning to sound like this is an addiction...

with a bit of thought you could pop out the flared fitting and then you have that...

Re: 95+ lower Rear Shock Mounts
I'm doing a test fit with some unknown shocks. I don't want to dismantle what I have, I also know that the metal brackets that come with the aftermarket shocks are made to do what I want with them. If the holes on the bracket thats flared together are way larger than the holes through the shock itself I end up with a very sloppy fit that could make noise and move.
I'm trying to start with the pieces that were meant for what I'm trying to do to ensure it will work properly... also I do not want to take my shocks apart like that I want to keep my KYB's intact.

Re: 95+ lower Rear Shock Mounts
That will be the hard part... I'm busy this weekend, Gone to Bfest next week, and pretty busy almost every weekend till end of the summer... Damn racing.
It looks like I will have the Bilstein's before Bfest but I don't think I want to take on installing them since I am busy the rest of this week.. its bad enough the cars not ready and I'm not going to be home after work till friday...

I'm going to have to wait... I don't have time to install them before bfest anyways. I want to do more testing with them before final install too, Friday the 29th you can head down?
