I have a 93 Beretta GT it has the original 3.1 i dont have any problems yet and have had this car since it had 6 miles on it.But when the motor goes I have an opportunity to purchase a 93 Grand Am GT with a 3300 in it I was thinking about buying it and just hanging on to it until i needed the motor some day. Will this interchange easily with my 3.1.If not what mods will i need?

Well i would say get a 3.4 L more power but yes depending on the year of the cars it should be easy. This Website like the name should tell you about it more. www.3400swap.com

3300 is a completely different animal. It's the little sister to the 3800, which as everyone knows, is a PITA to do properly.

I'd stick w/ a 3400 upgrade.

3300 known as the shaker...  I've seen enough MPFI 3.1's outlast a 3300 to make me not think twice about those 90* engines.  Also have had a lot of customer complaints about how rough the idle is about those 3300's...

i dont think id waste the space if i were you my ex g/f had a 3300 they are terrible, not too great on gas and riddled with gremlins ex:sensors, computer, rough idle, vaccum leaks, cooling problems, for what its worth you are roughly ten million baggilian x infinity better off with a 3400 or even a 3100.
