Absolutely MINT, just WAY too much money.

That's a shame... The mint condition original Raspberry Z26's are getting harder to find. There are two in my area, but wow are they beat to hell.

You can use the exhaust heat to cure the ceramic, but it scratches really easy if you don't.

The BETA test sets are listed on Ben's store now. should have some progress pics next week sometime.

These three sets are mild steel, yes. If anybody is interested in stainless and wants to provide the extra funds to do so, that can definitely be an option.

Mmmmmm would be nice, since the rest of my whole exhaust is SS. Not even the hangers or clamps are mild steel...

How much extra is stainless going to raise the price?

$400 is a killer deal on those initial sets. Even though they're mild steel they are coated - kinda makes me want to buy one of these initial sets since I have been wanting to get my current ones coated anyways. $250ish for shipping and coating, or $400 to have another set of headers that fit and are coated...

Oh well, these better be sold by the time I get that much money together - For the sake of our cars and mods and getting more sets of headers made.

Any idea on what the cost will be after these sets are sold? How much would it cost to get a mild steel set - uncoated? All questions that kind of hit me during the reading process.

I like them so far, they look good and probably a bit easier to put on and take off than my Steve Hamm headers.

Unless you are building a show car who really needs SS?

Mild steel will last for years if ceramic coated or even painted properly.

Most of the cars that people are spending this sort of money on are not driving them in the winter.

Mine S&S are 2 years old and there isn't a mark on the ceramic coating.

People that daily drive their cars... in winter.... LOL
I got tired of replacing the pipe between my tail pipe and muffler every 2 years after it would rust off. Aluminumized crap doesn't hold up. Factory stuff does but it's a mild stainless.

That's a good price, I'd like to have a set. I just don't know when I'd be able to get them on. If the price is going up after this I may just do it. I'm not a big fan of first runs though.

Will they clear the fan? My guess is that they do, but I want to be sure before I buy. My biggest problem with this is that I have stock exhaust pipe and a high flow cat and muffler. I don't have the money to get a whole new exhaust system.

On my 3rd name now for this site. I guess sappyse107 and gpse107 don't exist or don't work with my email:(

Headers are priced at a loss so there is no chance in hell you will see $400 again for a set, coated or not.

Yeah this site has been through some overhauls so those names may have gotten lost in the shuffle... I know my old account from 01 doesn't exist any more...

If you care to have sappyse107 working again, Let diedemus know he may be able to change the associated e-mail on the account so you can get a password reset.

Guess I may have to learn to eat tree bark. This is going to hurt. So, there are no problems with fit? And they are tuned? Also is that you Ben?

If I like what I hear, I will buy them right after I read a reply. No joke!
